Giving to Clothes To Kids of Haywood County is a wise choice!

7,100 students in the Haywood County Public Schools, approximately 54% are on the free or reduced food plan.

Here are just some of the ways you can donate:

Monetary Contributions.

All monetary contributions to CTK are used for clothing, shoes, infrastructure, telephone and supplies. All staff are non-paid volunteers. We give each child and teen new socks and new underwear. We purchase hard-to-fit sizes of clothing. And we purchase specific items that we do not get through clothing contributions. We know how to make your dollar go a long way! Individual and corporate sponsorships are welcomed!

Clothing and Shoes Contributions.

We accept ALL clean, school appropriate, and ready to be displayed gently used and new clothing and shoes in our shop. We do NOT accept underwear or socks, pajamas, bathing suits, etc. We do NOT accept clothing with stains or torn spots. We do NOT accept noticeably worn clothing. Clothing includes sizes that would fit Kindergarten children through 12th graders. We want our children and youth to enjoy shopping for stylish, comfortable school appropriate wardrobes! Donations are received ONLY when shop is open. You may call 828-456-8990 for times we will be open or to arrange a time to bring your donation. You can also call and schedule a specific time for your clothing drop offs. If you haven’t seen our shop, please come inside if volunteers are there to give you a tour!

Fund Raisers.

Church groups, civic club groups and other organizations are encouraged to raise awareness of the Clothes to Kids program by sponsoring fund raisers. Groups may choose to sponsor an ‘Undies Sunday,’ a ‘Knock Your Socks Off’ or a ‘Drop Your Drawers Off’ event, a ‘If The Shoe Fits’ race/walk or any number of other helpful programs. Call us for ideas!

Gifts to Honor or Remember Someone

Give a gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. Each monetary gift is acknowledged through a personal thank you card.
